You've reviewed your skillset, knowledge and necessary trainings - now it's time for the foundational skills. Certifications create a prime opportunity for you as a new cybersecurity professional: If you don’t have an applicable degree, you can work on industry certifications or do other things that demonstrate your passion for the field.
