Supporting Kids Foundation is a fantastic organization that Azura has been proud to partner with through our Community Impact Debit Card program, our associate volunteering efforts and various grants and donations.
How do you help families?
SKF provides assistance to families battling childhood cancer. Parents often have to make a choice between work and being with their child. Missed work leads to getting behind on bills. That's where SKF comes in and helps pay for housing, utilities, transportation, etc. so families don't get behind on their bills and can focus on their child.
How many families have you helped over the years?
Over 640 families since inception in 2010.
Tell us about your Ambassador Program.
SKF Ambassadors program was designed to recognize those who have taken an active roll in spreading the SKF message and continue to be our greatest supporters. SKF Ambassadors assist the board with filling events, introducing new donor relationships, and leveraging community contacts. Ambassador members take a direct roll in supporting the SKF mission without the commitment of being a board member. Our goal is to continue to grow the Ambassador program with those individuals who want to see SKF grow beyond where it is today.
What are ways community members can support SKF?
There are many ways local community members can support SKF. Attending, sponsoring or volunteering at one of our events (Golf Tourney, Poker Tourney, or Hearts of Gold). Or you can simply donate at supportingkids.org
