Meet the Team: Rose in Loan Operations

We sincerely appreciate the hard work and dedication required to provide the best possible service to our membership. That’s why, each month, we will take a moment to get to know an Azura employee in our new series, “Meet the Team!"

Rose is one of our Loan Operations Associates. She holds a very important, behind the scenes position at Azura! Read on to learn more about Rose.

Meet Rose

What is your role at Azura?

Loan Operations Associate. My biggest responsibility is reviewing documentation for every direct consumer loan and credit card we open. This means I verify that we have all the required documents and that they are signed, the interest rate is correct and so on. My other duties are similar to the other fabulous people in Loan Ops, such as creating lien releases and adjusting due dates.

What sets Azura apart from other financial institutions?

I think there is a high level of commitment to helping members. Whenever there is a question that comes up that the employee may not know how to exactly to help, they will work to find the answer until the problem is solved. I think we also all take personal pride in truly helping the members.

If you could tell people one thing you appreciate most about credit unions, what would it be?

I think credit unions have a more personal nature than other financial institutions. So many evolved from helping specific sets of workers and I think that still shines through. The level of respect and empathy are hard to replicate in other settings.

What do you like to do for fun when you’re not at work?

My life outside of Azura is hectic. I’m a mom to two hilarious kids, ages 3 and 5. And, as if they don’t keep me busy enough, I am currently working on my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I have a passion for learning and I want to invest that enthusiasm back into the classroom to hopefully pass along to future generations.
